Anita is a mother struggling to keep her children safe and well whilst her husband is in prison for manslaughter. For their own safety she and her children were moved to a new area away from family and friends.

Anita wanted to be re-housed and continue with her life, but had to live in a refuge for two years. She thinks that becoming dependant on the refuge contributed to her breakdown - which happened when she finally moved into her own home.

It's hard for Anita to maintain a relationship with her husband. She has made the long journey to the prison several times only for her visits to be cut short or not happen at all.

More than anything, Anita is worried about what the future holds for her children.
